Hi there,

I just purchased an Osmo Action 4 after watching many reviews and I was lead to believe that there was as burst mode for taking photos. Is there none or am I missing something? If there isn't one is there a way I can get the stills from a hyper-lapse or timelapse without just screenshotting the video?

Action 3 had bust you went in to QS, since DJI did not add it they can on the next future firmwar  they still have not added in or really listening  to us its   to the Relevant department or team good luck

Thanks for the reply, I think what you're saying that the Action 3 had burst but the Action 4 does not, a lot of people are asking for it but DJI won't listen at this point in time.

There's no burst mode anymore. Missing this feature much as well. Same for a shorter delay than 0.5 seconds. something like 0.2 would be great, just enough to hold the camera still after pressing the button.

I am also disappointed that there’s no burst mode in the Osmo 4. I found it very useful with my Osmo Action. The alternative of using Timelapse or video mode with the Osmo 4 is really a regression

Any update on this? I was wondering how to get to the burst mode of my Action 4 and I found this thread.

The lack of a photo burst mode is ridiculous since this is an action camera. And frame-grabbing videos is a silly way to get photos. The quality of frame-grabbing photos is also terrible due to lower resolution and no raw capability.

everyone can request a feature but these features may not get approved, just  passed along. best of luck I say on   this

I agree, I really miss this feature and I don't understand why they simply cut it out.

Absolute nonsense, is a action camera with photo and video capabilities, a burst mode is a no go if you pretend to be consider. Like the timelapse function, must be in photo mode not in video mode. Grabing stills from video is a no go too. If i know this before purchase i wold never bought it. Sad dji, very sad.

I read that there is an option to save either only video or video/raw photo.
But you have to view the photos on a computer and the interval has to be set for more than 0.5.
I am p.ed about DJI's not giving a f about advertising this which many people are wanting.
GoPro has this interval shooting mode so maybe I will need to pay a little extra for the GoPro 12 or 13.
