Holiday Lights being installed on Victory Blvd.

Very nice, but isn’t kinda early for Christmas? People aren’t supposed decorate until after thanksgiving   

I was surprised they were up already.

It starts earlier and earlier every year.

Too early for them to be on for sure.  

Nice find and an impressive low light shot.    I saw a few decorations already up in Miami just before Halloween.  Pretty soon they will just be leaving them up year around.

The utility companies make money from early installation as we rent each pole and pay for electricity for each one that strip costs as much as 14,000 dollars for the season.

I feel that the holidays have become way too commercialized.  Just my 2 cents worth anyway.

People today can't handle reality, so as soon as the days get shorter the corporate world starts to create celebrations to keep people happy and spending.
