This is the local mode AC club,    they have a full runway which is inline with the real airport at the local city airport.

Very nice shot and what a great field for the local model AC club.  

Are they friendly towards drone pilots there?  Just had to ask as the model AC club field nearest me despises drones at their field.

Im told they are not,   but a couple of years back they setup an FPV field but Ive never seen it used since.

BBT indicates that at the field close to him they are accommodating of drone pilots.  They are just too many hard core RC plane pilots here that despise drones and nothing is going to change their mind is the attitude that they take.

It was a shame there was no one there setting up,  since it’s got colder it’s been less popular.

I’ve seen them flying in some pretty strong winds and I’ve found one washed up before.

Possibly too far back.  And I find that, once you've reached 1000 images  posted on the forum, you have to delete some in order to post more.

Ive not been able to access it for about a week or so,  when I traced the website calls one of the servers failed to serve up the CSS and images for the site as they were missing.

I don't visit the site often, but I've not had much trouble with it.

Seems they did a big upgrade so that you can use it better on mobile now.  That seems to have been the trigger to my issues.
