Couldn't resist having some fun with the music at the end on this one!! LOL

The Mavic Air 2S has been a SOLID performer... even in surprisingly strong and challenging wind conditions...  gave me the confidence to take it in close enough to get close-up shots even when it was PRETTY windy.

Great job.  The difference is clear

Amazing footage and what a difference the new lens made.   New one seems to be turning a tad faster than the old one.  Also nice to see the revetment project has been completed.

Hey DowntownRDB... thanks for watching...    The lens itself makes an extraordinary difference for sure, but the new 216W High-Output L.E.D. they retrofitted the lens with is the real kicker!!!  That baby is SUPER-BRIGHT compared to the old whimpy 12/v 50-Watt bulb ( which seriously was like a bad joke. )

From on the water the light pulses are timed exactly the same as before, because the beacon that was replaced had 6 sides that emitted light..  where as the 3-1/2 ORDER "BIVALVE" lens only has 2 side that emit light, so it turns at 3 times the speed to keep light signal consistent and doesn't botch up mariners referring to their navigational charts (which reference those timings.)
