Hi, I am leaving for germany/switzerland in a week and I need public liability insurance but all the providers only cater to EU citizens. I am from Australia, is there any company that will insure me over there??? I am having a lot of trouble finding anything

Which country will you be getting your EU licence in?

Try an insurance agent there. It should be easy enough.

You're only allowed to have one EU license/operator registration at a time, and Swiss counts as EU for this purpose. In any case, you're too late for the German papers, since they easily take a week or more to be issued and you need insurance before they can be issued, so it might be a good idea to directly explore the option to get Swiss papers.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience to give advice on an insurance company which will work with non-EU residents... In any case, just keep in mind that you need insurance which will cover at least the worth of 750`000 SDRs for Germany.
