Great to see the clouds being ripped apart to reveal some blue sky.  But then they closed in again

Very cool lapse and nice colors.

It was interesting to see how the P3 started that over exposed,   as it was pitch black when that was started.

Certainly it didn't seem pitch dark.

I think I saw it in the early part off the footage coming from the viewer's right side and then headed away from the viewer.

It seems to over expose for that,  I may have to fiddle and see if theres any chance for manual exposure.

Yes,  the Timelapse mode does infact have advanced settings and I can set it manually.

I was much happier with hyperlapse for recording the walks.
A bit jerky but at least watchable.

Yes,  it does smooth them out better.    Maybe try it with the P2 and see if you prefer that.

I'd have to carry that though - or selotape it to a strap of my daysack.
And that might interfere with the gimbal.

There are mounts available for it,  but probably not worth the money for an experiment.    At some point I plan to 3d print a pocket mount to try that Ive got an idea for a design.

I do believe you mentioned it.
I'll stick with the Action2 for these forays, I think - with a bit of double-sided tape on the magnetic mount to hold it still.
By the way, I discovered that the mount is magnetic as well as the camera and battery pack.

I'm not sure, at what point magnetism can start to corrupt digitally-stored data.
I guess DJI have done their research on this before designing the magnetic mount.

I think that one got rendered out to 720p for the new video player.    The files the OP3 makes are stupid,  they are about 1GB a minute and then when sent through handbrake that can be less than 100mb for the same resolution.

But I would set the interval much longer and probably decide to use an ND1000 filter even though that would mean the shutterspeed would have to be much longer during the dark period.
