Amazing autumn weather afforded a 3 TOAL flight of the Storr from Loch Fada, Loch Leathan and from the Coffee shop - sadly shut for the winter - Car Park opposite the Stor Car Park - which meant I saw no 'No Drone' signs anywhere, and the area has no FRZ - the SSSI is for the rock formations, so as long as you dont crash then you are ok...
Another area of inspiration for JRR Tolkien when writing the Hobbit and the LOTR, reflected with in the choice of music...

Yes, its a good walk up to the Storr, although there is a plateuax below the final stairs that works well as a TOAL spot..

It is, as is most of Skye tbh... We had a week and barely scratched the surface, hoping for good weather in June next year when we return again..
That's great. I am looking forward to a few good hikes with the drones but It' looks like I may have to wait til spring.

Pehaps, perhaps not, grasp every opportunity, the worst that can happen is you cant fly, but when yo can, winter landscapes can be amazing...

Could you please just re-settle in the Highlands and send us a daily dose of magnificent scenery?
If we could afford to do it we would be there now! Just under 11 years to go until retirement, and still accruing enough pension to be able to make the move comfortably - plus another couple of years mortgage left and we can then start to save some extra for the move...
In the meantime I shall do my best to post a cuple of times a week while we have footage to share, and when its gone we shall just have to go and get some more Its a good excuse for a visit to friends
