A couple of shots from this mornings sunrise.....


After a quick battery change I sent the drone up to catch the unexpected colours.  Just as I took off an entire class of school kids appeared and had a thousand and one quedstions about the drone.

Both shots are very good, the first maybe a bit better.

What a spectacular shot DA.    The colors are so vivid.  I see you were able to even catch a morning commuter train in that shot.

No,    I answered there questions as they were all very polite and excited.   I suspect they were going to a private school.

Both shots are very good, the first maybe a bit better.

The first is a single shot,  where as the second was 9 shots.

thanks DT.  the train was more luck than planning and the fact they are every 15 minutes or so.

I only have about 8 in the bag at any given time,  and because it seemed to add confusion I now have one card with both the IG names on it rather than two separate cards.

My current planning is for a Timelapse of a boat turning on the tide change and maybe a new vs old shot or two.

Thats at the repair centre and Im waiting to hear from the estimator.   that should be by close of business on Friday.  Them  guess I have to wait for the insurance company to authorise it or total loss it.

Hopefully, dealing with auto insurance companies is not a pain the rear like it is here.  For all practical purposes insurance is really a rip off, but what can you do.  At least as a retired lawyer I am able to decipher even the small print on insurance policies.  Saved me thousands a few years back when my Truck got ran over by a grocery chain's delivery truck.  They tried to low ball me and use only remanufactured parts so I had to point out the intricacies of the small print in my policy.  The insurance agent had no other choice than abide by the details in the policy.  He told me that most people have no idea what's in their policy and I told him as a retired lawyer I always look into the small print details.

It will be the low balling that will be the issue here,   and the fact the specification of the car is quite unique I cant find another one for sale with the same options,  regardless of mileage or colour.   

If they do repair it,  it's at the main dealer repair shop so it will get a proper OEM repair.

I'll keep my finger crossed that the insurance company approves the repair.

Sadly we didnt hear on Friday like the estimator thought we might.    If they do total loss it,   I have a tracker in it and a spare key for it.

No doubt you'll be able to retrieve those items if it is confirmed as totaled.

Im not sure if I want to go up there and remove half the dashboard to get the tracker back,   it would be cheaper and easier to just replace it.   And in the meantime I can see where the car goes. ;)

Yeah, probably not worth all that work to get it back.  Also, would be interesting to see where the car goes for dismantling if that is what the insurance decides.  Again, I'm hoping they don't say total it.
