I did the new update as told in the pdf file. After all lights going out I put off the battery and started again. The P3p goes beeping very loud. I read the txt file it says Aborded. How can I get the P3 working again??
Please help

try again wait for about 25 minutes and make sure the SD has only BIn file in it gimble led light should become green when its ready and check the text file again

Yes, that's normal.  Look at the LED on the gimbal.  It will flash red and green while updating and you should hear a buzz-buzz-buzz-buzz.  When the update is done the LED will turn green and you should hear buzz-buzz-buzz.

Power off the aircraft and check the P3X_FW_RESULT_AB.txt file.  It should look something like this:

It looks the new version is on my P3p now. I find out  my cardreader is broken so I can not update the remote controler. Is there another way to do this?

u can update yr RC using USB thumb drive but the new release firmware just released today 9/7/2015 wont need for RC, just update P3 and your APP and you should good to go.

When I look at About.... in the app I see

Is this correct? I don't see the new modes? Is there a manual ?

You'll need to switch the flight mode to F-mode in order to see the new features. DJI did not release a new manual yet.

Under MC Settings, goto Advanced Settings and enable Multiple Flight Mode...
Otherwise you will remain in P-mode regardless of your switch selection...

Thanks did that but see no extra modes but I read it shows up when you are in the air. Can somebody please confirm me if the Remote 1.3.20 is the right one?

Yes, Same as me, Phantom 3 pro is all updated, but NO Extra modes visible anywhere, even with F mode selected and ExtraModes enabled in the Go App!!

Pretty sure you have to be up in the air flying first then switch over to F mode then the little menu will pop up for multiple flight modes.

Thanks for reply, ill go and try that now before it gets dark!!!

Remember you can try all these new features (except follow me of course) out in the flight simulator if you have iOS.  It is easiest way to see how the functions work.

YESSS!! All good. All working ok. Shame about the MINIMUM Height restriction in Waypoints and Follow me, But i guess they are there for The Obvious reasons....Smashing into people!!
But 10 metres is a bit high for Waypoints if your doing some Boat following or Flat Landscape shooting.
