Recently I went to do some surf filming and my oa3 magnetic mount disconnected under the first wave, oa3 dropped into the ocean never to be seen again. Expensive lesson.

I went to the shops and bought a new one but now I’m trying to find a cage that doesn’t use the magnetic mount rather the old GoPro fixed mount so I can’t lose my camera again. I’m trying to avoid the waterproof case because I’d still like to have audio out in the surf. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I can buy a cage that fits my needs?


Also a suggestion for dji, make the magnetic mount a 2 stage process. Ie once it clips on there is another lock of sorts that means the hooks can’t be disengaged so easily.
