There's been an explosion in property prices here the last couple of years, but just recently we're seeing a fall-back.

You're very welcome.  No doubt very helpful to the realtors and potential buyers.  Still a seller's market in my location.  Prices are still what I call ridiculous but people are paying the prices anyway.

I guess enough people are "stretching" their budgets to the extreme limit.  I can't believe how many new home permits are being issued to builders on a daily basis. Most new homes are sold before they are built and rarely do you see a new home sit waiting on a buyer for more than a week.  

I think this housing boom will eventually have to slow down but I don't think it will happen anytime soon.  Guess that is why I get calls weekly wanting to buy part of my 125 acres.  I keep telling them no matter how much they offer I'm not going to sell.  I've already had one insane offer that is 10 times what I paid for the land but I'm still not selling.  I want to keep it "green" for as longs as I'm alive.  then its up to my kids to do the same or sell it.

Exactly why I'm hanging on to my land and the fact that wildlife is getting squeezed out by all the residential and commercial development also makes me want to keep it green.

Sometimes land ownersuse the maps to measure materials, piles and progress to seethatthe actual materials, equipment and manpower that they are being charged for  is being used. They can see how much of the roads have been paved every month along with the current condition of the roads. Those maps are a composite of about 100 pictures. The colored map are for elevation which wasn't necessary for road work, but I throw it in. the Phantom 4 Pro and the mavic 3 E offer mechanical shutters which help prevent motion blur at High speeds which is great for creating maps quickly.

Never heard of that here.
I don't think new areas take that long to get paved.
Once they start, they usually finish quite quickly.
But then again, I have no inside information about this.
I like the 3d mappings btw.
