32-bit internal audio recording on the Osmo Pocket 3 itself? Nothing in the specifications suggests that this should be the case yet Adobe Audition and Izotope RX both report the internal video files recorded to the SD card have 32-bit float audio. This is the case whether recorded using the built-in mics or whether recorded via an external mic, such as the Rode Videomic NTG via USB-C. Very strange...

I think in response to a comment on one of the day-one reviews, one respected reviewer said (perhaps unwisely) that DJI hoped to provide internal 32 bit float via a FW update in due course.  I very mcuh doubt whether DJI will comment on that here, but - here's hoping.

32-bit float audio recording allows for a very wide dynamic range, capturing details in both very quiet and very loud sounds without clipping or losing information. If your Adobe Audition and Izotope RX are reporting 32-bit float audio in the files recorded by the Osmo Pocket 3, it suggests that the device is indeed recording audio in this format.

If this feature is not explicitly mentioned in the official specifications, it could be a hidden or undocumented feature, or there might have been an update to the device's firmware that introduced this capability after the initial release.

well, later in the day I can add that after hooking up my rode wireless 2 receiver to pocket3 via usb-c to c cable I got an option in Pocket settings to enable 32bit recording. I've just recorder the clip but I have to verify that the audio stream is 32bit indeed, my metadata reporting app invisor would not show this parameter

That appears under the 'Wireless Mic' menu, which also shows no wireless mics connected if you have another mic plugged into the USB-C port. Pretty sure it would only apply if you actually had a Mic 2 connected and not to any other mics or recorders connected by cable.
