Is that what they call the pitcher's mound?  (We don't see baseball over here)

Can't see much of a mound in the top down.  However, if you look right in front of the landing pad you'll see the pitcher's rubber, which is the starting position for the pitcher's feet.

Thanks for the explanation. I guess a bit like the Crease in cricket.
The bowler's foot must not overstep it.

Very similar for sure.  I tried to watch a cricket match when I was stationed in London but I just never did understand the whole concept.

Okay, so probably getting close to the end of the leaves dropping then.  No doubt you'll be able to fly over that spot and see it snow covered before too long.

Well, hopefully the in-between will not last too long for you.  I do remember how bare the trees looked once all the leaves fell off.

Unfortunately, winter tends to be the ugliest season for sure, at least weather wise anyway.  

We need to come up with a list of things that aren't affected by the winter doldrums like bridges, buildings, beaches etc to capture.
