It looks like some folks are flying them in around -30C.   https://mavicpilots.com/threads/ ... -the-mini-3.142325/

Really nice test of the Mini 3 Pro in that inclement weather.

The good thing about flying in temps lower than -10ºC is that the air is too dry, therefore, prop icing should not be an issue.

As long as you keep the batteries warm enough, i.e. next to the body or like i do using a hot and cold picnic box when flying at the car and then taking off as soon as you've removed the battery from its warm place, you should be fine. Or, if the battery is cold, you can load the battery and start the motors, whilst grounded, keep checking the temp in the battery section and take off once they reach a cosy temp, downside to this way is that it will give you less flight time. Once the AC is in the air then that will be sufficient to keep things warm, a period battery check wont hurt though if in extreme temps, I've only flown in -10ºC myself, therefore, I'm not sure how it will fair in extreme cold but the above is how i fly and would fly if the extreme presented itself.

Disclaimer, i haven't watched the video and wont be unless someone convinces me that i need to.

I don't know if it is a good idea to fly it in that weather even if it works

Hi. I understand this is just a test. But yes, it is not advisable to fly the aircraft at low temperatures as it can cause a significant drop in battery performance. Have a great day ahead.

Yeah, just be careful with the battery
I have flown in low temps here in NL too (ok, not that low probably) and it performed nicely.
I just stayed away from open water
