It's just a guess, but looks like ot could be for dredging.

There are 3 of these in Rotterdam, one you can also see moving around in the background

Great shot of that dredging barge.    Lots of equipment on the deck so it must be headed out for work.

So very true.  I'm doing a little research on this French ship that went down off the coast back in the 1500s but not having a lot of luck.  It was loaded with gold and silver bars headed back to France but was sunk due to a storm off the coast of Florida.  I'd love to dive on that ship.

I've doe about 20 wreck dives. There are over 300 in the New York area. Most of them are picked completely clean.They even remove the portholes.

All but one of my ship wreck dives have been on "newer" wrecks.  I did get to dive on a 1700s era Spanish ship.  You're not allowed to remove anything from it as it falls under the jurisdiction of the State of Florida.  This is why I prefer looks out in international waters but makes for quite the transit time out and back.

Yeah, that can happen for sure. He already beats me on the Switch with most games.

Working on it but as long as flying is part of the workday I'm happy. At least for now.
