Can someone please explain why my Mini 3 Pro drifts during hyperlapse?

I keep the drone stationary, and the position doesn't seem to change.
However, it yaws and therefore the camera angle changes significantly.

The wind is mild. Only about 5 miles per hour.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble. Please confirm what specific hyperlapse mode the issue occurs in. Also, please try to test other hyperlapse mode or different shooting modes to further isolate the issue. If you are using Hyperlapse-Free, please try to calibrate the remote controller stick (via RC calibration in DJI fly) and the IMU then check the behavior if the issue persists. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

I'm using the course lock mode.

It's supposed to go in a straight line, and does for the first 7 seconds or so, but as you can see in the bridge video it starts to drift to the right towards the end.

Whatever help you can provide, I would appreciate that.

Thank you for your response, Raztec and we're sorry for this unfortunate experience. Please try to calibrate the IMU and the Gimbal and have a test flight to see if the issue persists. You may also try to connect the aircraft via DJI Assistant 2 software and please update/refresh the firmware before you initiate the test flight. Please let us know. Thank you for your cooperation.

The gimbal and IMU were calibrated prior to this flight.
And the firmware is fully up to date.

Anything else could be causing this kind of drift?

Why not post the flight log/s and possibly find the cause without all the speculation?

I'm not super tech savvy and can't figure out how to do that with my Apple computer.

Not very tech savvy and using Mac OS Monterey.
As you can see from the help link here, lots of people have difficulty with this.

Perhaps there's an easier way?

Once the files are on the mac uploading the files to Phantomhelp is a matter of going to the website then using the browse button to find the files. For me, with a mac, getting the files onto the comptuer from an android phone is the tricky bit. I have to bluetooth them from the phone to the computer, from memory the files go into the downloads folder. The usual method of using USB doesn't work on my mac.

That I remember when using an iPhone I followed thoe instructions you cite and they worked perfectly and that was the first time I had ever used and iPhone and iTunes.

Besides, as I said previously "You managed it before, post #13 in https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=299817

Any help would be appreciated.
If this is a normal feature of the Mini 3 Pro, I can live with it.
But, if there's something I can do to alleviate this problem, then please let me know.

Many thanks

Hi

Had a look at the first log, the flight over the bridge, saw the video

But in the log the heading of your drone was steady as a rock!
See my chart of your data.
Red line is the move line wich is equal as the heading line!
So only thing what can give the yaw moves is the gimbal moving bit left and right.

cheers

Too bad they don't show why that would happen.
