It was an interesting building. They are building a larger standard type building to put in it;s place. I just wanted to capture the old one before it's gone.

The building was used to print religious books and sell them from the retail store up front. As far as I know it was someone's folly. The article about the buiding is here. It doesn't say much.

An interesting design. I wonder why they are tearing it down. Is it structurally compromised, is there a mold problem, or something else?

It's an interesting building but there id a reason most buildings are designed traditionally. I would assume it's prone to water damage. The new building they are proposing is traditional in design. It will be boring but more efficient.

It's a plain building that will look like a brick. It won't add any personality to the neighborhood. But it will be efficient. For what it's worth.
