Two points :


1) Is there a way to control remotly the Osmo Pocket 3 WITHOUT Mimo app ?

The point is while you stream from the Osmo Pocket 3, Mimo app is stuck on streaming windows and no control can be done on OP3.



2) After shutting down OP3, you must use again Mimo app to start streaming, maybe because settings are temporary. Anyway to fix this ?

The Mic2 has remote capabilities - start or stop recording. Other than that or the MIMO app, nothing else.

Ok for point number one.

But for the second point :

Can we imagine the possibility to start streaming directly from the OP3 without using Mimo App even after shuting down the OP3 ?

Its a lost of times to set up new stream.

If you haven't figured out a way to do this yet, I read someone found a way in one of the DJI forums. I'll send if I can find it but they were able to control the Pocket 3 with a PS5 controller It requires an app from the Play Store on your Android or App Store on iOS to be installed and that app can be used to map the controls of the MIMO app to different buttons on the controller to control the OP3. He mentioned he has the left analog stick controlling zoom and the right analog stick controlling the gimbal I'll see if I can find it.

Below is the Reddit thread like where they came up with a solution to use a game ontroller to control the Pocket 3 by using another app on the phone to map the pocket 3 MIMO controls to the game joystick, including the left analog as zoom and right analog controls the gimbal. Very last response at the top of the page. Also attaching screenshot.

There actually is a way to control remotely with the MIMO app active, but not actually using the MIMO app and DJI isn't safe of it. I'll look for the post as it's somewhere in this forum, but you can actually use a game console controller, like a PlayStation controller, to control the camera. There is a specific app for iPhone and Android that you must download and once you connect the MIMO app to the camera, you open the new app on your phone and it's an app that allows you to assign/map the camera controls on the MIMO app, to the game console controller. We actually had the zoom assigned to the left analog stick of the controller and control of the gimbal using the right analog stick. I'll see if I can find it and if so will give ya the app details
