I'm wondering..

Waypoints are available in motionlapse. Working perfect.

Why is it not available (or am I n00b?) in normal video mode?

It would be extremely valuable.

Agree - available on Osmo Mobile. It was called "path" I believe.

Then record 5mins panning from left to right while we are playing.

Please make waypoints for videos, like a motion video mode in Osmo Pcket 3.  Ideally it would be great user can set durations between waypoints.

Oh my God.   Please update this in firmware.  This is such a needed feature and would be so helpful.  IS there any way we can hear about developments with this?  I just bought the pocket 3, love it, and just could do so much with this one feature.  Having it in the next generation instead of a firmware update with this would be kind of heartbreaking.

few different ways:

- for product shoots, having A>B points set reduce variables.  predictable path makes it easier to get consistent results.  

- for street shooting/vlogging for instance, having waypoint/keyframes would allow you to jump into the shot without having to be staring at your phone to get some gimbal movement.  This would allow you to walk from one area to the other, while doing a voiceover or popping a wheelie etc .. knowing you've got X amount of time to go from point a to point b.

- for a very cool effect, waypoints make shots like match-cuts a viable option.  it's pretty much impossible to get it correct by doing manually, having waypoints would let you put together a super sweet match cut

These are the top examples off the top of my head.  there are several neat uses for this.  It is a frustrating oversight, since the Pocket 3 has these keyframes available in Motionlapse/timelpase mode, as well as previous Pocket versions had "paths".

just wanted to post here in hopes to learn there are waypoints/keyframes/paths coming soon to the Pocket 3?  I actually bought this assuming it was available, since we've seen it on previous models.  Possible I'm overlooking the feature, perhaps you could point me in the right direction?   

If in fact it's unavailable, could you provide link where I could submit info for a 'feature request' to make sure it's available on the next firmware update?   

Much appreciated, and looking forward to utilizing this soon.

Sorry to say this, but.. don't hope. DJI never addresses issues with product being in the market for more than 1 month. They just don't.

Of course there are exceptions (dlog in some older models of action cameras). But in general they don't take care of customers.

Put it in different view: they already have the feature of waypoint (even in Pocket3 when shooting motionlapse). As an engineer I have a deep conviction this feature would not be any way hard to include in pocket3's video mode. The reason they don't include this is purely marketing-based: they will add it in Pocket4. Otherwise noone will upgrade to Pocket4 as Pocket3 is a perfect travel camera.

That's how DJI works. Take it or leave it. Anyway they are doing amazing products hands down.

Please add this feature. If its easier just add it to the mimo app.
