With this new compatibility, maybe the Mic2 will be available as a stand-alone purchase soon. Hope so - I didn't get the Combo package but wish I did.

I didn't get the combo because it was generally not in stock but I still think it was a sensible choice as it charges so fast from powerbank or PD I don't need the battery and I have 2 or 3 mini-tripod things. I will buy th emic2 on its own though.
