Yeah. Apart from the sunniest days (sic) the street lights are coming on around 15h30 just now, and it's almost full dark by 16h00. Still, one more week and then the days will start getting longer again

I always feel a little better after the 21st December. It's probably psychological, but after a few lethargic weeks of dull and damp weather, the thoughts of heading back towards Spring always gives me a lift
Even though the coldest couple of months are still ahead.

You're most welcome.  No doubt more people are out and about shopping or relatives are coming into town.  For me, I try and do all my shopping on line.  I did make a trip to the music store as one of my grandson's has started his own band and wanted a better drum set.  So I got him a really top of the line acoustic set.  He will be ecstatic with that gift come Christmas day.  No doubt it will get moved out to the garage shortly after that.  His mom and dad said he was too noisy to keep playing it in the recreation room.  So they installed some acoustics material on the walls in the garage and that is where his band practices now.  I've heard them play once or twice and they sound pretty good.....just not my favorite genre of music though.

You have to look forward to the little things. Sometimes I think the holidays were put where they are to get us through the dark days.

He had a "beginner's set" but I figured with a band and traveling to gigs he'd need some much better.
