Can anyone confirm that Dji-Fly will work properly on a Pixel 7 phone for control and video of a Mini 2 ?  I don't see it listed in the compatibility list.

Hi, there. Thank you for reaching out.  Generally, devices not listed as supported mobile devices can also be used if their system versions are the same or later than those published on the DJI official website (Beta system versions may not be compatible), but their stabilization has not yet been verified. It is recommended that you download and install the app to test the basic functions, or go to a nearby outlet (if any) for product testing. As for compatible devices, please refer to the image below. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Its ridiculous that a Google pixel 7 is not in the supported phones. It is a flagship phone. I bought a DJI Mini 3 yesterday and now I find out I can't fly it with my phone. Surely there is a work around to get the app to work?

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Could you please confirm if the app has been installed? If it has, is the app failing to open, or is it freezing on the landing page? Alternatively, you may check the link provided to see if you can isolate the issue. Let me know if you have any other difficulties.

Thank you for your kind understanding.

The DJI app for my Mini 2 used to work just great with my Pixel 7 Pro until the last phone OS update a few months ago to Android 14, Build AP2A.240905.003. Then, the DJI app failed to boot and could not be reinstalled, like everyone else is experiencing. Yesterday, just to try and figure out the difference between OS versions on the 8 Pro vs the 7 Pro, I went into "Settings" on my 7 Pro, "About Phone," then "Android Version," then clicked on "Google Play System Update." Imagine my surprise when my 7 Pro instantly did a quick little update, then had me reboot the phone. I was then able to successfully download and install DJI app version 1.13.0, which is now working fine! I am hesitant to try and update it to v1.14.2, but since I do have a copy of the outdated version, I may give it a try - after I get some use out of my Mini 2. So, make sure your Google Play System Update is updated, then try the app again!

After enjoying a week of Mini 2 drone use on my Pixel 7 Pro with v1.13.0, I updated to v1.14.2 and it worked, so thumbs up on that. Today, (10-20-2024), I updated my Pixel 7 Pro to Android 15, (Build AP3A.241005.015), and v1.14.2 continues to work just fine!
