They are fun and low cost, however the food is getting as expensive as the big leagues here.

The last big league game I went to in Tampa the cost of refreshments almost equaled the cost of the admission.  Then the owners wonder why the stands are never full anymore.

I've been spending more time watching college baseball games.  Cheap admission ticket and refreshments are reasonable.  Best part is the players are not yet getting paid to play so they give it their all.

I think the monor league baseball games are paying the same stadium food suppliers like Aramark which charges a fortune. Hopefully they see the error of their ways.

Aramark has a bad reputation down this way but no doubt the other suppliers have their prices jacked up as well.  Most of the concessions at the local sport's venues are contracted out so they also keep the prices high.  There is no cheap visit to the old ball park anymore.
