I had a slight run in with my drone and a rocky riverbed a few weeks ago and my MP2 pro got soaked for a few days before I could rescue it. the water it was in was cold clear fresh run off from a drinking water lake. I took the battery off and proceeded to dry the unit out. I let the battery dry and it booted up and started charging right away, from Zero charge.
I was surprised as the drone had a full charge when it suddenly gave a critical error message and proceeded to land itself in the water. On inspecttion of the footage on the card, The camera kept recording for another 40 minutes until the battery died. Jump forward a few days of drying and I tried booting up the drone and it booted everything up But the Gimbal, Camera works. The Gimbal doesn't do its dance and is marked on the controller as N/A in its designated line. I went ahead assuming that the gimbal burnt out resting against the rocks until the battery died. Got a new used from https://djioemparts.com/ and put in the new gimbal thinking all would be good. Not So. Still no Gimbal, but the Camera gets a signal through. Any Thoughts?
