Yes it has its moments doesnt it .   Although other days it can easily be heard but I do sometimes wonder if thats only if you are listening for it.

I saw on the morning news where Storm Pia was causing lots of issues in the UK.  They showed a picture of where a lorry had got blown over by the wind.  They said that some areas had suffered from 80+ mph winds.

In south where I am were not having it that bad,     wind and rain yes but not enough to cause any damage yet.  Trains to Manchester which is near Mr B have been cancelled though so he might be getting it harder.

Fortunately it sounds like your area has dodged the bullet from the worst of this storm.  Mr. B mentioned in one of his replies that the weather was miserable in his area.  So is he quite a bit further North of you?

Knowing roughly where he is,  within a km he's 165 miles from me,  mostly north.

Well, now we are chatting about injuries.
I got a tennis elbow some time ago from sanding the grilles.
Applying counter pressure to a grille that is being sanded on the other end is apparently not a good thing for these muscles. So I have to slow down a bit.

I had to fill some holes that I missed and sanded them again.
So now it's cleaning and one more coat of primer before I'm ready for the final 2 coats.
Which is nice, since that is the first thing that will be 'finished'.

Yes it is.
SWMBO added some more tasks, but she is right about doing them now.
It will look better.
After that, I can move on to the plasterboard on the ceiling. Which can be finished too then.
