Not available in Germany right now for both drones, M4P and Air 3.

Nice find DA and that's a great update for Mini 4 Pro.  I haven't seen the update for the Air 3 yet but maybe it is rolling out by regions.  

I have updated my M4P using DJI Assistant 2.  However, I am wondering if I was too quick off the mark?  I say that because I am not able to launch Vision Assist.  When I tap the bottom right hand corner of the attitude indicator it just switches to the GPS view.  However, I am able to see the proximity lines on the attitude indicator.

You have to lift off for Vision Assist to work.  Vision Assist does not work while the drone is on the ground.  It may work if you start the motors though.  Also I believe it said you have to swipe on the Map/Radar to bring up the Vision Assist screen.

I did launch my drone before trying vision assist. I will launch it again later and try ‘swiping’.  But swipe what?  GPS map or attitude indicator?

If its like the M3, it toggles between Map, Attitude. Vision Assist.

If you've done the F/W already on the aircraft, you will need to do the controller (or phone app) as well,

Some are saying 2pm, some are 1pm.  Guess there could be a timezone difference across Europe.

I'd wait a few hours anyway, as DJI's CDN doesn't always cope.  Or a few days to see if others have fundamental issues (though recent releases have been better than those from a year or 2 ago!)

Just a point, for EU fliers does this include the programming for the 120m hard ceiling?

Did the Update via WIFI (and yes i have a solid wifi at my home)

What a nerve breaking exercise !!  Few times the circle stopped at 40 and 70 %.....for long time, but ....at the end it reached 100%
oke...now FlyApp is restarting....

On the screen the DJI logo for 11 minutes....just before i decided to turn the RC off....it continue to extract data   
Finally it booted oke, its working now !!!

Hi All,

Just updated my RC2 to the newest firmware (Dec 21st 2023) and the screen recordings are now going straight to the SD card!!

So damn happy about this.

Tested and I used a PC to connect the RC2 to verify where the recording was.

Android card in Movie folder.

Finally the option to disable the Landing Protection OFF!

Only reading the warning text ; it reads that wgen OFF the omnidirectional obstacle sensing is unavailable....
Guess DJI means that all other omnidirectional sensors are ON and working, just not the bottem sensor. Uh, i hope that it works like this....

Yes. Need to be done for all the Flight Battery but my Flight Battery Plus did not require it.

Not mine,  just sharing as DJI kept the update a bit quiet.  

Hi - Just applied updates to both my RC2 (02.00.0300) & Mini 4 Pro (01.00.0300), and looks like config for drone has been reset to defaults.  I'm based in France and had previously been through the process to have the height limit increased, but seems that has been lost... now seeing 120m max altitude again in the Flight Protection section.  Anyone else got a similar experience?

My batteries were ok, but I suggest you check them as well since it only takes a second... -- others have

So every youtube video talked and did a demo on the new features for the mine 4. But it seems one thing has been left out which no one seem to be talking about. RID! Has anyone who updated to this firmware tested this to see RID is not active when not using the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus?

So how would we test this if we're on iOS? I don't have an android device and many have mentioned there are apps available to show RID.

vision assist is the only thing drawing me to upgrade again,  I just wish they would add that to the Mini 3 Pro but we know its not going to happen.
