That is a landscape view I'd like to see on Christmas Eve For us here in Finland, it does look like at the moment that we are getting a white Christmas

Lovely winter scene Mr. B.      Hopefully, you'll get really similar this year.  I don't get snow here but that doesn't mean I don't like looking at it in other places.  

Blériot, over here in metro NY area, we are being informed not to expect snow. So I appreciate this photo even more.
BTW, I want to thank you for your advice on installing Litchi to solved the issue regarding my DJI RC-NI failure's to display the different speed modes (Tripod & Sport) on my MA2.

Forecasters are touting this as being the "hottest" Christmas on record here in the UK.
Currently +13 Celsius and set to remain for the next several days. (With rain)

We actually experienced a bit of sleet on the way over the hill on Monday, but no signs of snow anywhere afterwards.  Hope you had a good Xmas.

Didn't happen. A bit of sleet on the journey to family, was all, Boxing day was sunny enough for a walk and a flight

I went to shoot a construction project yesterday with FAA approval 1 mile from Newark Airport and I had to call into the control tower before flight.  We had a mist at 1000 ft. with 4 mile visibility below it. The control controller asked me "your flying in this today? The day after Christmas? I felt like he was annoyed. I told him I got rained out three times in a row and I had enough to legally fly but I would abort if he thought I should.  He let me fly but I was so apprehensive that it ruined the flight.  You could here the airplanes but you didn't see them until they descended to 900 ft which was right over where I was flying. Next time I'll take the ATCs advice.

Sounds like the whole excercise was a tense affair.  Not really what you want when flying the drone.

We had a quiet few days which is what we wanted, although I must say the TV this year was the worst I can remember.

I usually have a visual observer with me so I can concentrate on the framing but she went on vacation. It was very tense. I thought I was recording and I missed two videos because I flew without hitting the record button.  I hate when that happens.

That's one thing I like about Litchi. Recording starts automatically on take-off if you're in video mode.

Litchi is a good program. Unfortunately when I use my smart controller with it the voice is garbled.

Yes, I would like to upgrade to a pro controller but I can't justify the cost.  The smart controller is good because I cn use it for all of the drones but there's just enough memory and bandwidth. I was trying to use dronelink yesterday to handle the video and it kept freezing, which was one of the reasons I forgot to record the video. Dronelink does the same as Litchi but it does mapping and POI along with a few other automated flight plans.

I notice that Litchi are offering a Beta version (android only) for the Mini3 and Pro, and other models. But only for the RC n-1 controller and smartphone, not the dedicated RC,

Well sleet was close but unfortunately the white stuff didn't appear for you.  Good to hear you were able to get a flight in on Boxing Day.  It has been really cloudy here all morning and weather guessers anticipate rain this afternoon.

Once its cooked you'd not know they were there,  they add a strong meaty flavour to it thats all.
