Weather is really cloudy here today and the weather guessers are saying rain all afternoon.  So I was able to update the firmware on the RC and RC Pro and get in two very short flights. No issues with new FW and have no idea what bugs they got rid of.

Ive moaned at DJI about the lack of details as this is quite the leap for the DJI RC,  but I dont think I will be updating for now.

I updated because I wanted a newer version of the Fly App.  However, I can't see where it made any difference whatsoever.

We’re supposed to check for software updates each flight under our CAA rules which is one rule I’m no longer following.

Can't say as I blame you for that.  If DJI would be more transparent with their FW and software updates it would be so much nicer on consumers.  Doesn't appear as that will ever happen.

So far Ive not seen anything actually fixed or added with this one and I cant say Im having any issues with mine, so I'l pass.

Can't blame you for passing. I don't think we will see any major updates to the Mini 3 Pro anymore since the Mini 4 Pro has become the flagship mini drone for DJI.

A little bit of a delay in updates is usually a good practice, to see about bugs. Sometimes the first run isn't perfect. But lately the updates are for the newer models and restrictions.

Sadly I agree,    but the 4 hasn't given me enough to want to take the upgrade.    I'll hold out for the next one or depending what happens with the rules here maybe something else.

No doubt with the expansion of drone deliveries we will also see more and more restrictions tacked on for recreational drone flying.

This morning when I went to the dive shop to refill my tanks for today's dive I heard a drone so I decided to open the Drone Scanner App on  my phone and sure enough I saw 3 remote IDs showing.  I guess the others were far away enough to not hear them but I could see them on the App.

Because of what is supposed to be a nice weather locale (not lately though) this area of southern Florida is saturated with drones.  On weekends when I'm out and about I'll see drones being flown at athletic fields of schools, in large parking lots and of course all over at the beaches.  Fortunately, with my own property I can fly and not worry about crowded air space.  I've only had one drone fly over my property and I'm still not sure where the pilot was because I'm fairly remote.  My guess was he was flying from a boat on the canal leading in from the ocean.

You might have hit the nail o the head there,   you're right Ive not seen any others since the weather turned miserable.    I must be a die hard flyer or loonie.

You're just dedicated to getting in your daily step count and your daily flight(s).  Nothing loonie about that whatsoever.

hahaha,   Ive just about managed that over Christmas.   My best couple of days thought I was over 23'000 steps.

Dont worry my average in the last 7 days is 19800 steps,    way down on my summer counts.

I'm only averaging right at 12,000 steps a day.  After having my knee rebuilt I can't run but I do my best to get my walks in or better to get a lot of swimming in as that is less pounding on the knee.  I do have gym membership and the gym has two pools.  One is regular pool and the other is a swim against a current pool.  Spend 20-30 minutes in that pool and you get out wore out for sure.

Nothing wrong with 12k.   Thats a lot more than SWMBOd does most days,  and then she companies her knees hurt and that I'm going to fast.

No doubt that doesn't set well with her.  Sounds like she'd rather be taking a slow stroll vice "stepping" out.
