Those two towers look well rusted. Does the centre section still lift smoothly to allow ships to pass?

I don't know. It' looking a little sickly. I was asked to do some road surveillance in the area for a state contractor. Maybe they will work on this too.

Newark is old, industrial ad forgotten. Rough Neighborhood. But lot's of new warehouses and infrastructure is going up. It seems like all the new work is coming from this area lately. The good part is there are no residents to complain. Just truckers.

That's a bit different to Newark over here

Much more opulent and better planned than Newark New Jersey. Beautiful video and I like the canal shot.

Thank you. I went up here to scout out an area that they are building a new highway here that they want mapped. I always take a few shots for social media. Not very pretty though.

Cars drive over it. Not sure if the drawbridge opens but it must because there is through traffic from the boats.

Sorry there are two bridges on that river this one is a railroad. I believe it's actve. I have seen trains in the area but never saw one on the bridge. I have seen them further down on the track though.

According to this it's very active. It's schedules for replacement due to heavy use and cost ofmaintenance. It doesn't look maintained at all but they say millions re spent on it every year.

True, I caught the commuter trans I got stuck behind a freight train that seemed a mile long going toward that bridge. I must have missed it.

Hey, I'm pretty traveled over one of those bridges at some point. Are those near Interstate 95(Newark)?
Boy! those bridges need a good paint job. We can load up our drones with paint and spray them ourselves, whad'ya charlie?

Wikipedia says it take millions per year to maintain that bridge. I see no evidence of it.
