New JCB TM420s working hard to get the plant filled Battledown AD plant morning feeding consisted of Silage, Cattle Muck and some whole crop being fed into the station Troilet Feeder tank, the mixer is then ground up and fed into the 500kw plant ready to produce energy which is fed back into the grid...
Once the plant is fed the seperator pit is cleared...this serperator takes the processed digestate and squeezes it through a series of screens which removes 70% of the solids and leaves a liquid which is much easier spread through the umbilical system
Once fed and the seperator pit cleared yard is given a quick sweep and away off for a days work...
