With 140+ video's filmed and edited this year I have been trying to condense that into a single showreel of the best clips to share on the last day of the year. As expected, his has proven to be a very difficult job!
There is much that has not been included, and a lot of the clips are shorter than I would normally use, but for good or ill this is what I have managed to come up with... There is an original - longer - 9 minute version, which I may share in the future - if folks really want to see it...
A guitar version of the stunning Hans Zimmer composition 'Time' has been use for the soundtrack, it is a piece of music I have long wanted to use, hopefully the footage does the music justice...   
Locations included in the showreel are Skye, Lewis and Harris, Tongue, Orkney, the Black Isle, Manchester, Rannoch Moor, Glen Etive, Glencoe and more besides...

Again: A great review - I can imagine how hard it must've been.

Wow, the views are absolutely astonishing!    The guitar background music made for some superb listening while viewing this video.  How in the world you were able to edit hours and hours of footage and reduce it to only 5 minutes was an incredible feat itself.  

I'd love to see the longer version as well.  

I hope 2024 is another epic year for you.

Do a search, IIRC I downloaded it from YT... It is copywritten for YT use, use is allowed, but any monetisation will go to the Music Copywrite owner rather than come to you, but as my channel is not monetized as yet it doesnt matter to me..

Hi Judy, you are most welcome... TBH I only got my first drone, a MINI3 Pro in August 2022, and most of the showreel was taken with that! You will definitely be surprised at what you can do with it, just get out, fly and practice filming and editing...
I shall look forward to your 2024 EOY Showreel

What program do you use to edit your footage?  I've used Adobe's RU in the past for family video's but wondering what others use.

Da Vinci Resolve 18, free version... On a 5yr old laptop that sturggles, but its all we have atm..
