Pretty windy and pretty scared but fun nonetheless.

I gave it a shot withmu Mavic 2 Pro but didn'y havethe guts to get that close. Nice job.

Maybe flying fpv helps to get a "so what?" attitude to crashes. I'm not totally there yet but maybe a step closer... ;-)

That;s the part that scares me. Coming from Radio control Airplanes. Gravity cost me lots of money. I kind of relish the stableness of the standard DJI drone. I don't miss the crashes but I do want to try it. Maybe one day I'll start with an Avata.

The Avata is a good one for a possible transition. I just sold mine as I don't particularly like how it flies (and try to sell me second DJI fpv as well) but that doesn't mean the DJI fpv wasn't a good thing to transition to fpv for me. And while the fpv sucks when flying in the "easy" modes the Avata is okay.

I haven't crashed a drone yet. 900 flights and no incidents, knock on wood. I'd prefer to keep it that way.

I did once,  I clipped a tree branch flying next to it in the dark to get a blue hour shot.   totally my fault and the DJI repair was really cheap.

Ive been ordering bits and bobs from Aliexpress lately and from china their shipping time has been under 8 days which is really good.

It's hit and miss: Sometimes it takes for ages until anything moves in the shipping status and then it's a few more days and it's there.
Wasn't complaining anyway.

I'm not entirely sure if I adhered to the last letter of the law here but I think my drone was far less dangerous than the fireworks.
