dji on my iPad Air opens then minimizes immediately.   It won’t actually open.   I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times.   Nothing works.   My iPad has iOS 12.5.7 on it.    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, the DJI Fly app is available on the following iPad models :
iPad Pro (9.7-inch), iPad Air 2 (9.7-inch), iPad mini 4 (8-inch), iPad Pro (10.5-inch), iPad Pro 2018 (11-inch), and iPad Pro (12.9-inch).

May I know which gengeration of the iPad Air you have?

Same problem here.  Worked perfectly fine last week and now it opens then immediately closes.  We have tried uninstalling, hard reset, clearing all RAM but nothing works.

Same here. Newest version 1.12.4 DJI Fly from app store installed, but won't open. Ipad Air MD786LL/A, with 12.5.7 ios software on it. The old DJI Fly app V1.1.10 from DJI page recommended for older devices unable to install. Any solution?

Yes I'm another DJI Mini 2 User using a iPhone 6 Plus with ISO 12.5.7 ( 16H81) where DJI Fly was working perfectly in November 2023 and now January 2024 after an iPhone update, that the APP crashes immediately upon launching it. I have tried to delete the Fly APP and reinstall it both from the Apple APP store and from DJI's website ( mounts but crashes immediately on launch ) from a safari browser ( which it fails to mount on my phone). Disappointing I cannot use my Drone until this compatibility issue is fixed.

Hello, there. We are confirming with our engineers about the reason, too.
Currently, please use a different compatible phone to use the app.
If the issue occurs after the iPhone update, please do not update the iOS version first.

I have the same problems with Rev. 1.12.4 and identical hardware as described by Sledge807 (#13). My last successful operation was on 4th December 2023 (using DJI Fly Rev. 1.12.3).

The old DJI Fly app V1.1.10 from DJI page recommended for older devices was unable to install as well.

Just now I have checked the App store and downloaded the actual revision 1.12.6 (Released 3 days ago, Fixed certain issues and optimized overall app quality).

Very disappointing: Same problems as before.

Next trial DJI please.

Please update your download in the Apple Store with the fix patch or even revert back to an older download that worked, and notify us once this is done on this forum thread, so we can get back to enjoying our DJI products.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I will forward your feedback to the engineers and push them for an official update. At the same time, could you please try to go to Settings, General, VPN & Device Management and choose to trust the DJI Fly app and check again? Thank you.

I used it  and it worked perfectly.. you have to manually authorize it for use..   problem solved..
