I need advise on how to use Mavic 3 to do photogrammetry from capturing photos automatically using mavic 3 and generate 3D model from the photos taken.

Is there a need to install any software in the controller for capturing photos automatically (mission planning)?

There's no SDK for the Mavic 3 so anything you do would need to be manually,    depending on what your looking to achieve you may find filming a POI around your subject and then processing it with Luma AI will give you a model thats suitable.   You can upload mp4 to http://lumalabs.ai and not need to use their app.
