That would definitely make it quicker to inflate.  Many of the 12V pumps can both inflate and deflate.

PS.  If your interested here's 3 shots from the pinhole camera today,    nothing brilliant but more of a proof of concept and on a better day things could be better,   Also im not sure if the pin hole itself is the right size so I make have to try a bigger hole next.

I can't remember the brand that my son bought but it really is handy for both quick deflate or inflate.  He's out on a fishing trip for the next two days but I'll try to remember and ask him when he gets back.

We had a lot more rain over night,    all the flood defences this morning were brimmed full and they were pumping out the boat yard (the one where youve seen a few boats being craned into the water) with two very large hozes sas it had flooded overnight.

Id assume they are swimming back too,    but then what would you get a puncture from apart from a shark bite.

Locally it ends up in the Thames and goes out to sea,    I was near one of the sluice gates when the pump kicked in,  gave me a little surprise as Ive never heard them kick in before.

No doubt that is a very powerful pump and produces quite the noise when starting to run.  If it is anything like the pumps they use in New Orleans it has to be noisy.  This beast can pump 150,000 gallons per minute.  Don't even ask how much this beast costs.

Mines lovely and shiny except the wheels but they are gun metal black/grey so you cant really tell.   Saw two lower models out today and one flashed and one tooted at me to say hi.    Id forgotten how much that happens.

I would think the manual pumping warms them up, because it must be cold there before sunrise.
