Hi
I'm heading to Barcelona shortly and have read that there seem to be real difficulties flying drones there - I have a mini 3 pro and would love to capture some of the city both during the day and at night - has anyone had any experience - positive or negative of flying or trying to fly a drone in Barcelona? Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated.

How did it end up?

I only put the drone up 3 times - once very quickly around their version of the Gherkin, once to film La Sagrada Familia, (see link below), and once around my hotel just to get a quick hyperlapse of the traffic at night. The police came after that and told me the drone was a danger to aircraft and that if I flew it again they'd confiscate it, (in fairness they were friendly enough). I was tempted to point out that it was only 25m in the air and if that was a danger to aircraft in that place then we were all in trouble but I didn't . It is very deifinitely an issue flying in Barcelona certainly - I wasn't seen around la Sagrada Familia - I flew the drone only on my last evening there.
