Very true but many times they are flying outside of restricted military zones.  I guess they justify it by saying we need to get out to see to chase a drug smuggling boat or whatever excuse they are using for that day.  I've even had a few lift flight helis come by and they are NOT squawking ADS-B either.

Just means we as drone pilots have to be super careful and alert at all times.  This is where an experienced spotter really comes in handy.

That's why I have one for work. If you are trying to get video and you're busy looking at you're screen it's easy to lose the drone.

Yep, that makes perfect sense.  

Nice shot (I'm curious about those cars (wagons) on the right, could be parked there for a long time, or to be picked up)
