Heavy Civil Construction - Roadway Work. Not a pretty day, but we haven't had many here lately. The video isn' t pretty, but this roadwork had to be monitored. You can see various stages of this construction from planning of where roadways will be built, to under construction and completed work all at the same time. I'm in the shot at the end by the water.

Great overview of the proceedings. Still quite some work to be done before completion.

I have a visual observer on most paid flights. She is also a part 107 licensed pilot. It's great to have someone watching the sky while I get the footage.

I'm glad you made it all the way to the end. I thought the video was a little long for most. It's not a pretty one.

That's funny. The U.S. Postal Police stopped by to question me at the end of this flight. The blue building on the lest of this road is the Postal Service. It's about a half mile long. They were concerned that we were  filming the building. When they found out we were hired to document the roads it was fine.The lights and sirens were a little disturbing.

Lots of ongoing construction.  Very nicely documented.   Was that you and your observer at the video outro?

I hope they hire me for the end of the  construction work where it's finished. Everywhere I flew over will have new roads.
