My thoughts were based on down sensors (I fly in S) they prevent Avata from going down beyond "landing" point (You can see in this clip how Avata put her nose in the bar rejecting my attempt to go under ... but reality was different

I've never flown an Avata. Usually not that close. Looks like quite a challenge.
