I would have thought the same since the camera is pointed that way.

My thoughts were based on down sensors (I fly in S) they prevent Avata from going down beyond "landing" point  (You can see in this clip how Avata put her nose in the bar rejecting my attempt to go under ... but reality was different

I've never flown an Avata. Usually not that close. Looks like quite a challenge.

A couple of bumps, but no damage

That was some really nice flying Alex.    Seems it was easier going down the pipe vice up the pipe.    Great area for FPV flying.

That's the beauty of flying Avata - some minor obstacles do not harm
