If you don't want the black corners you must turn dewarp on but it is not suggested for mapping tasks.
Btw I never had issues with the black corners in Metashape.

Its happening with oblique images too. I have to keep the camera setting in Zoom mode to avoid the black corners. In Wide mode the black corners are visible.

Yes It wont affect in Metashape as the pictures are merged. due to overlap.

But it affects the single photos.

Any advise.

As already mentioned, if you want to capture image without black corner, turn on the dewarp function.

Hello, there. As other members mentioned, you can turn on the Dewarp to avoid the issue.
You can check the third-blank in this link:

Vignetting is an unfortunate feature of the M3E Wide camera lens.  I found that Adobe Lightroom Classic will remove any vignetting (dark corners) from my M3E images automatically when I import them.

I'm sure there are other post-processing software that can do the same.  Otherwise, as others have pointed out in this thread, turn on Dewarp for capturing individual images.

Thanks guys, my problem is solved after turning the Dewarp function to ON.

Is the Dewarp to be switched OFF  for mapping?
