Not-quite-sunup yesterday morning. Gusty winds prevented the Mini3Pro from staying aloft too long, and led to a hairy landing.

Great shot due to the bridge and its been lit

Remarkable pre-sunrise capture Mr. B.    Glad to hear the Mini 3 Pro survived the gusty wind conditions.  I'm guessing you didn't hand land it with these conditions.

I may have spotted you in the shot (red circle).

Yes the orange glow from those sodium spotlamps shows off the stonework nicely, I thought.

Thanks RDB.  No I managed to wrestle it to the ground - it was being buffeted around between trees and houses.  Managed to land it on tarmac about 20 metres from TOAL point.

Early-ish. At the moment the sun appears over the hill at around 08h15, so this was at about 07h15

Is that a new light on the bridge,  I dont recall seeing that in your shots before.

It's the same spotlight - it's just that it's not usually on when I fly over it

Not yet. I haven't looked actually. And it may not be accurate. I keep forgetting to re-activate Wifi/Bluetooth after each flight,  so quite a few will have gone unrecorded until I remember to do it again

I was really down on distance based on my records but still made the top 0.1%.

You're very welcome Mr. B.  It's been way too windy here to fly lately so I've been "beating" on the drums and spending time at the pistol range.  I was invited to go on a cave dive but I did that once and I'm just to risk averse to do that again.  In an underwater cave it is simply too easy to get disoriented and lost.  Besides some of the space are just big enough to squeeze through with your tanks on.

The leading causes of serious injury or death in cave diving is gear failure (torches flooding, reels tangling, masks breaking), getting lost, becoming trapped, and/or running out of air. This is what I was talking about when I said tight spaces.

Which is another reason I'm super careful when diving on sunken ships and crawling through a maze of hatches and passageways.

Well, talk about averse to flying under bridges?? I won't even think of going under that bridge, as easy it may be for someone else. So, I definitely understand.
