I am unable to seelct H.264 for the video compression option, I looked online and most video guides are able to switch, can someone help

I am on firmware version 01.02.06.06
Camera firmware version 10.00.17.19

Are you in D-Log M or HLG?  I think you can only use HEVC in those two modes.

Nope, I was not even in pro mode, everything was the default option  (which was auto) at 4k30fps

Anyway I managed to fix this weird issue after factory resetting my device... which enabled me to select the H.264 option, so I hope this helps someone in the future

Some of the modes like Slo Mo you can only select HEVC.

video： D-Log M /HLG color profile
video：3K 、2.7K in portrait orientation
slow mode：4K 4x or 1080p 8x

Thanks I could change my setting to 264 just in changing color profile to normal without resetting to factory settings
