Hi

I make walking videos, now with the Pocket 3. Is there any way to use the Mic 2 and internal mic's at the same time? Ideally Mic 2 on one channel, internal audio on another. When its windy I want to be able to use the Mic 2 with the furry to reduce the wind noise when I am talking to camera but would also like to have the ambinent audio to turn up or down when editing.

Thanks!

Discussed elsewhere already, but in brief, if you turn on the "audio backup" feature in the settings (current firmware required) you can record the internal mics to a wave format file and the Mic 2 will be recorded to the AAC component of the video file.  But, due to an annoying bug or a design error, the internal mics will be recorded in mono on the stereo wave file, so you won't get a nice stereo ambience behind your mono wireless voice.  Just mono of internals and mono of the wireless mic.  If you want stereo ambience to go with the wireless mic audio, use any other wireless mic that has a USB-C receiver, connected to the USB-C port of the Pocket 3.  Then the internals will be recorded to the wave file in stereo, and the USB-C connected wireless mic will be recorded in mono (if only one mic in use) or in stereo (if it's a set of two wireless mics).   Kind of daft that the Mic 2 is the only wireless mic not compatible with this function...

Ah sorry this has previously been discussed. Ok, that's kinda annoying but I'll try that as a work around. Cheers.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. With the latest firmware of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, we added a Built-in Mic Audio backup function in Settings. When enabled, the camera will record audio through the built-in microphone and save it as a separate in .wav format audio file, which can be used to pick up environment sound when connected to a DJI Mic 2 transmitter or an external microphone. (This function is not available for low-light mode at 4K 30/25fps or slow motion at 4K 4x (120fps) D-Log M/HLG.). Hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to reach us if you have other inquiries. Have a nice day ahead.

Hello! Is it possible to make it work in low-light mode? Thank you!

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. Low-light mode at 4k 30/25fps does not support this feature at the moment. We will surely gather this feedback and will forward it to our relevant team for attention. We appreciate your understanding and support.
