I have the same problem. I bought a DJI MINI 3 drone and a  battery for it from an official store in Hong Kong. A message appeared stating that the battery version is not compatible.

Could you check if you are running on the latest Firmware and DJI Fly app update. If it is not kindly use DA2 to update to the latest version.

If it's running on the latest version please sent us the flight log and DJI fly app log.

Steps to export DJI flight log:
1) Please log into the DJI official website (www.dji.com)  and find the DJI Mini 3 Pro product. On the Download page, download and install the latest version of the DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series)
2) Please connect the aircraft to a computer with a USB-C cable. Launch DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series). Tap the “DJI Mini 3 Pro” Aircraft icon.
3) Go to the Product Page. Select “Log Export” on the left menu. Then, select the required time point data and finally select “Save to Local”.
4) After “Download Complete” appears, it indicates that the data has been saved locally.
5) The saved file format is .DAT files. (Attach them in this file link: https://pan-sec.djicorp.com/apps/) / PM us

App Log Export
Please reboot the mobile device before exporting the app log.
Android device:
Connect the mobile device that has been connected to the aircraft to the PC, the path is as follows: internal storage/Android/data/dji.go.v5/files/LOG (The path of the version before DJI Fly App V1.4.12 is DJI>dji.go.v5>LOG), and then export the data in the "LOG" folder.

iOS device:
Connect the mobile device that has been connected to the aircraft to the PC, open iTunes, and then export all data under the "Logs" folder.

The DJI Mini 3 series battery is compatible with each other (Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro). However, the DJI Mini 4 Pro battery will only work with the DJI Mini 3 Pro and DJI Mini 4 Pro.

Hey,
As I said I have the same issue: Error 30211 "Incompatible battery version. Change" with my mini 3 (non pro)
The battery model # is: BWX140-2590-7.32 advertised as "DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery"
The battery S/N is: 7BVPLB7DA10B0K
The vendor is telling me that after a certain fw upgrade the bateries are no longer compatible with the non pro verssion of mini 3.
It would be awesome to have a resolution on this because right now I don't have any alternative for a new battery.

I agree with the comment in reply #33 but DJI need to work out how they can resolve this as they are supplying batteries stating they are compatible with Mini 3 when they are not.

I have a £60 battery purchased from DJI directly that is now useless until they resolve this issue

Nach dem vollständigen Aufladen wird nur eine Fehlermeldung mit dem Errorcode 30211 angezeigt. Bei beiden Akkus ist das der Fall. Ich habe mittlerweile mit Hilfe des DJI Assistant 2 alle Firmwares aktualisiert, aber auch das hat nicht zum Beheben des Problems geführt. Bitte um Hilfe.

Habe genau das selbe Problem hast du bereits eine Lösung gefunden ?

we purchased a Mini 3 and then purchased an extra battery off amazon. the ad stated it was for a mini 3. my battery serial is 7BVPM3VDA203GK can you confirm if it is compatible with a Mini 3? also may be a good idea to have development make a web page to check serials and compatibility for what model. this may save some time. The same applies for me; I bought an official DJI Mini 3 Intelligent Flight Battery from DroneDepot.be. (https://www.dronedepot.be/product/dji-mini-3-pro-intelligent-flight-battery/)
Now I get the statement in the DJI Fly app that it's not a correct battery. (Error 30211 "Incompatible battery version. Change", but then in Dutch )
I already updated everything, FW, app, didn't help.
Serial number of the battery: 7BVPLA8DA1039K
Could you fix this for me?

That's not really an acceptable outcome, I bought an additional battery, that should be compliant with the the drone I bought, a DJI Mini 3, the store where I bought it also states that it should be compatible, that there isn't a different battery released that is compatible with the DJI mini 3 and not the pro.

From the other posts above I tend to conclude that the error is a flaw and should be fixable.

I would like to have this fixed, or have this battery I bought replaced with a version that should be compatible.

As an additional information: I have downgraded the Firmware of the Mini3 and of the RC to the versions x.xx.1400. With no positive outcome. When connecting drone and RC, the battery is still indicated as "incompatible".

Hi there, thank you for the above response and we do apologize for the trouble caused. This error  indicates that some module versions are mismatched. A possible reason is that some modules fail to be refreshed successfully (with a “- ” symbol in the version number). Another possible reason is that there are several batteries and the battery version and aircraft are inconsistent.

Could you please try refresh the firmware or update the firmware . Alternatively, connect to DJI Assistant 2 to manually refresh the firmware. If there are several batteries, insert each battery into the aircraft for updating each time the aircraft is updated.
