Very nice close-up.  Too many power lines at that spot for me to fly there.  Were you actually that close or did you use zoom?

I cropped it. to about half of the distance. I had to come in close to photograph the intersection.

Thats just crazy.

When looking at the obstacles presented that leaves little doubt as to how stressful that flight would have been.

I only had clearance to 250 ft. and the highest poles were 210..

The color took away from the power lines. I figured the black and white added to the industrial look.

same here. went up to catch the dusting we got. Pretty unspectacular.

Nice that it provided the diversion.  I saw in one of your comments that you are doing a real estate shoot today.  Probably good in lieu of the current winds you are getting as probably a no fly day with the drone.

Yes they would like a drone flight but it looks like I will have to go back. It is 17 degrees here now and windy.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a candidate to reschedule for a less windy day.

It's so interesting to see all the power lines above the ground.
We don't have that in NL.

You're lucky.. power lines are ugly and not well planned. How do they transport power.

Thanks I never got this close to power lines.  Nor did I want to. Most of the roadways were shot at 100 ft.

That's only happened to me once and was the first time I ever flew a drone back in 2016. Just dropped a grand on a Phantom 3 Professional and was told to land at a nearby park after just 4 minutes. They wouldn't dare tell to now lol

I was stopped by the Army core of engineers for flying to close to a military property. I did as I was asked.

By mistake  backed over some Army property that wasn't listed on the map. They Identified the drone by name and told me they didn't take kindly to Chinese drones over the property. They said I was OK to fly in the area I was standing in. I took that as a friendly goodbye.
