Dear Community Members,
Greetings from Amsterdam, Netherlands! I'm considering purchasing the DJI Mini 4 PRO. Now that it's 2024, this model is limited to a maximum flight altitude of 120 meters (around 393 feet) above its launch point. I'm curious to know if this altitude restriction is connected to the drone's GPS. For example, if I were to take the drone to Chile in South America, would it automatically drop to this limitation?
Many thanks for your assistance. Best regards, Drone Noob

You can remove this limitation (but you also loose the Cx label)

And from what I understand, it's measured from takeoff point.
So if you're on a hill, it starts measuring from where you take off. Even though the ground rises too, it can only fly 120m up from where you started.
So you will have to move to a higher point if you want to fly higher.
