Is it correct that you cannot add a new waypoint between two existing ones? It would be really useful to be able to do that, maybe I'm missing something.

You can move the points and add one, but after all rest of it...you cannot insert between.

No but I just select the next one and drag it back. I always place more waypoints down closer together because I can get the path relatively straight for longer sections. The longer the path the more I place down in-between each curve. So for me it’s better to have more which if not needed I can delete any of them later. It would be nice if we could though.
