I wanted to do some video and photos there. The weather on Sunday was perfect for it.
But it was darned cold!

Seeing how long the bus takes I can see why you didnt ride the bus both ways.

45 minutes on the train.
And the bus I caught back was the first one of the day.
It's a lengthy bus ride but the scenery is stunning.

I much prefer the train over the bus but I can see why the scenery on the bus could be better,  it's a nice area.

And you can hop off the bus at some famous startiing points for hiking trails too.
Remember last year I walked out to the B29 crash site and did that little video?
I could have taken that bus to the spot where i actually parked my car.

Lovely day here but bitterly cold - I only ventured out for 20 minutes before lunch.

I'm really tired of all the rain here but I think I prefer that over the bitterly cold weather for sure.  I don't think that wearing my shorts, t-shirts and flip flops would survive that type of cold.

  Just be sure and keep plenty of anti-freeze (hot drinks) in your belly on those bitterly cold days.

I had a good look round through 360 degrees with the gimbal horizontal and the drone hovering, to double check there were no branches within reach, before launching the Mastershot POI.
I was sat virtually below the drone as well so I had a good view of it.

Well I can if I pay
But the scenery is better seen from the bus, actually, on that route.
What with tunnels, cuttings and embankments, and trees lining the railway lines, the view from the train is often restricted.
I only went out on the train as there's no bus that early on a Sunday.

I just prefer the train for a more comfortable ride.
The bus usually makes me a bit 'travel sick'.
