A cold January morning dawns with snow still falling, and an opportunity to capture the scene as snow cloaks our small village, Partington, in beauty...  Early morning drivers on their way to work, kids walking to school in the cold, life goes on despite the cold weather...  And once the snow stops falling the sun comes out, making the scene shine...  Take 5 minutes and indulge yourself with a restful moment of beauty...

We had about the same this morning, but by lunchtime it had mostly melted away.  More to come overnight, possibly.

There was very little snow, and the motors would keep it away from the body, so I gave it a go, it worked... I was happier when the sun came out and the snow stopped though..

Yeah. I love looking at it but I'm not fond of being out in it.

About 1 1/2 to 2" in total, nothing much tbh, I can remember 8 to 12" of snow in 2011 and 2012 - had to drive 25 miles o work in that at stupidly below zero and to arrive in time to open the shop for 8am... Brr...

Yes, it was wonderful, the main roads were ok, but the smaller roads were fun... I left early, allowing 90 minutes, and did it in just ovr an hour and 15, so plenty of time... The annoying thing was the staff that rang in snowed in that lived no more than 3 miles from the store... Ah well, managed to escape retail now, and mainly work from home, much better commute

You can't beat your new commute and nice to be out of retail I'm sure.
