Enjoy the weather. I am doing a real estate photo shoot. I may have to skip the drone today. Temp 10 degrees below freezing and wind gusts to 29 mph.

Remarkable twilight shot.    I saw on the news this morning where your locale is in for a cold snap today.  Time to bundle up.

They are....that was just the "average".  Many days we are in the low 100s.

The lowest temp recorded here was back on Christmas, 1989 and it reached all the way down to 30 degrees.  Hope we never see it go that low again.

I'm thinking that would be hunker down and stay inside weather.  I think I own a very light jacket and a sweater or two.  I downsized my wardrobe for this local climate and to make it all fit in the closet in my master cabin.

So far it has worked out well for me.  At least with the boat if I get tired of the scenery I just have to take off a few lines and get underway.  I'm probably going to do that around mid-February as I need to get out in the ocean and give the engines a good run period.  Weather permitting I'll head west into the Gulf of Mexico.  I made that trip once before and I was amazed at how many offshore oil rigs were off the coast in that area, especially off Louisiana and Texas coastlines.  I saw many daily trips of large helos ferrying work crews and probably parts to and from the rigs.

So far it has been an adventure.  Maybe in a few more years I might start thinking otherwise but right now I'm really enjoying the "mobility".
